One of the booth volunteers as been bringing his bird Pogo to help us work the booth. Pogo is chatty and well behaved, and a huge hit with the kids!
Today was almost too dull because there were so many ATHEISTS in the crowd! Usually we get quite a few thumbs ups and people who shout a quick “thank you!” as they stroll by, but today was crazy! Were all of the religious people at home hiding? Have we already converted everyone in San Diego and it’s time to pack up the booth for good?
No, but seriously, it is great to see so many people on our side, and understanding why it’s important to make a presence.
